The formal fireplaces are handcrafted limestone by Chesneys, installed as gas but with the ability to be converted to a real fire if desired.

The heating is highly efficient with an under floor piped hot water system on both ground and first floor levels, operating in tandem with a ventilation and heat recovery system.
